Ava Snyder '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ava Snyder. I am currently a freshman at Marist Catholic Highschool in Eugene, Oregon.  I've been playing soccer since I was little and I have a deep passion for the sport. I realized I wanted to play soccer competitively when I moved to Eugene, Oregon, and joined the Eugene Timbers (now currently known as Eugene Metro). I worked my way onto the Eugene Metro Girls Academy team.  We are currently ranked 10th in National polls.   

My freshman high school season was incredible. As a starting varsity wing, I loved being able to play with older, more experienced girls which allowed me to learn from them. I also loved being able to help my team through playoffs and our first State Championship title. 

Academically, I'm a 4.30 student. I'm currently taking Honors English and Honors Physical Science. For my sophomore year, I plan on taking AP European History. Honors Biology, and Honors English 10. 

The thing that sets me apart from others is that I have a strong mentality and a desire to get better. I'm not afraid to make mistakes or fail because I know that I will learn from them and get better. My ultimate goal is to play D1 soccer and study business.
