Personal Statement
My goal is to play collegiate soccer and achieve my academic goals. One thing I think makes me stand out is how I read the game and my decision-making on the ball, as well as my movement off the ball. Spending time watching and learning from other players and teams has allowed me to play several different positions on the pitch. I've always had the goal of trying to be a well-rounded and versatile player that can add value to my team where needed the most. While I primarily play the 10/8/6, I can play the 9/7/11, and most recently as a defender in the center back role. I have experience playing in various formations: 1/5/3/2, 1/4/4/2, and 1/4/3/3. Another quality that makes me stand out is my work ethic, not only in games but in practices with my team and on my own. A few words that describe my character are, integrity, hard-working, intelligent, committed, and highly competitive. Academically I’m organized, focused, and like to plan things out.
