For as long as I can remember, soccer has been part of my family. My grandfather played for the Tampa Bay Rowdies, my mom and grandfather worked for EPYSA, and my dad played and worked for US Youth Soccer. So, to say we are a soccer family is an understatement. My love for soccer started back in the 5th grade. I ran the sidelines for Abington High School boys' team which my grandfather is the coach. I learned the game listening to him. When I am on the field, I use that knowledge to help me gain an advantage over the competition. My strengths include being able to direct my defense, controlling the box, and being able to use my feet. Although I am on the short side for a keeper, being able to anticipate and direct the defense, I can erase most offensive threats. I am very comfortable playing sweeper keeper to be another outlet for my team. Currently I am playing 2 years up in the ECNL-RL with LVU Rush 05/06. I also play for Warrington United 05/06 in the National League. This summer I will play for the LVU team in the WPSL. Playing so many years up has allowed me to play with bigger, stronger, and faster players. This opportunity is a blessing because it has made my game better and forced me to adapt to different playing styles. The game is much faster and my decision making has to be quick. I am a student of the game. The school that would fit me best would be a school that challenges me and pushes me to continue to grow my game.
Although i am undecided about my program of study, I think I have a few more years before I need to make a decision on that. I do like athletic training, history, and sports management. My hobbies include any activity in the water, trampolining, and trying to be a ninja warrior. My family has the biggest influence on me, and this journey is definitely going to be a family effort.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. If you need more information about me, please reach out and I will respond as quickly as i can.
