Soccer has been a big part of my life since I was very young and my goal is to continue playing at the collegiate level. I am an aggressive player, pride myself on being very coachable, and have set very high standards for myself both on and off the field. I have earned a place on the honor roll every semester in high school and have maintained a 3.8 gpa. As a year round Club and High School soccer player I have had to develop excellent time management skills as a scholar athlete. On the field I have primarily played Center Back but also feel comfortable as an outside back and holding/defensive midfielder. I am a very physical player but also combine that tenacity with clean touches and technical ability so that I feel very comfortable on the ball. I have the strength, composure and quickness to be a strong 1v1 defender. As a result I have been successful matching up against some of the top forwards and midfielders in Pennsylvania over the past 2 years as my high school team advanced in the state tournament culminating in a State Championship title during the 2021 season. In addition to my individual play, as a soccer coach’s daughter, I have been exposed to the more cerebral and tactical aspects of the game. I have incorporated this learning into my play by reading and anticipating, allowing me to actively adapt, adjust, and organize my team’s defense on the fly. I strive to be, not only, the best player I can be, but the most supportive and positive teammate and am looking to join a program where I can continue to learn, grow as a player and contribute to a great culture.
