Personal Statement
UPDATE! I recently have scored my 150th high school career goal! My team and I are now in the playoffs competing to be the district champion.
Hi, my name is Grace Sarver and I am a student-athlete at Bedford Area High School. Perseverance and determination are my key components when competing on the field and working in the classroom. I am a student-athlete that works hard when no one is watching. I strive to be better than the person next to me and put in time and effort when no one else does. This makes me a stand out player. I choose to better my abilities on my own time in addition to practice. I am a striker, but I have played anywhere in the midfield as well which makes me a versatile player. As an athlete, I am always adapting to new forms of plays or drills. I listen to my coaches and fellow teammates. I lift up my team and encourage them to be a better version of themselves not only on the field, but also as a person. I am the overachiever and like to do the most I can to help others out. I will always put schooling first and athletics second. Being well-rounded forms my character. I raise goats and am involved in 4-h, The National Honors Society, and track and field. I have many accomplishments in track including three district records as a sprinter. I also like to offer help and volunteering hours whenever I can. I can accomplish all these things and many more all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I would like to pursue a career in pediatrics and feel that my tenacious attitude will help me achieve this.
