I personally believe that sports aren't the only thing that makes an athlete stand out. Academics also play a tremendous role in my life. Not only that, but keeping a positive attitude, whether it is on of off the field, is a significant trait that I possess. I cannot thank my parents enough for they have done for me. With not a lot of money, I have grown to realize that money is not everything. My parents have given me food to eat, a house to live in, and the opportunity to play soccer, and I am blessed to be offered things that not many other people have.
Soccer is a key part in my life. It has shaped my character in a positive way in becoming an athlete, student, and individual. At only being a freshman in high school, I have already become a Varsity starting forward on my high school soccer. Also, I am a starter on my club team, either on defense, midfield, or forward. I am saying this to display what sets me apart from other athletes that also have the same goal as me. I am not entirely sure what I hope to accomplish when I attend college, but I am hoping that I will know in the next 2 years of my life. I have grown to earn respect from many coaches, parents, teachers, and fellow peers/teammates, and I am sure that's very important in every athletes career.
