Personal Statement
My name is Annabelle Wunderlich. I am a 17 years old and I am a junior at Dallastown Area High School. Currently play for PA Classics U18 Elite Blue and Lancaster Inferno II (UWS 2 League).
I want to attend a university that offers a strong academic program & a competitive soccer program that will allow me to continue grow and develop. What makes me a good candidate is my strong work ethic, dedication to the game / team and my wiliness to continue to grow as a player.
At the age of 14, I was selected as a player for Lancaster Inferno (UWS League). At that time, we did not have an official reserve team which allow me to train and play with high level collegiate players and former professional players. Currently, I continue to be a member of the team. Being part of this team and be able to train & play at this high level have increase my tactical knowledge, speed of play, soccer IQ. I have grown as a player and as individual. As a player, I was given the opportunity to earn my US Level D Coaching License and coach a U 13 girls team through the Lancaster Inferno Summer Program. It has thought me time management skills and how to deal with difficulties on and off the pitch. My coaches and teammates had been a huge influence and have provided me with guidance and lessons that will help me in my future.
I continue to push myself on the soccer field and in the classroom, in addition to be involve in multiple activities such as student council & committee chair for Mini-thon (Children's Cancer Fundraiser). I look forward to the next level of my academic and soccer career
