Personal Statement

I have always been very passionate about soccer, I've been playing since I was little. I am a very aggressive player and I'm always pushing myself to help my team win. I am dedicated to soccer and always putting in the extra practice during and off season to become a better player. I have been a Varsity starter for my high school team for the last two seasons, this year I played as a central defender, but I can play other positions such as a center forward and a defensive mid. I am currently playing for the Pittsburgh Hotspurs 04/05 Blue team and I am pushing myself at every practice to become better mentally and physically. I am a player that will push through when I'm tired and will keep going until I achieve what I need to. I love to play soccer and have fun, but I know when I need to get focused and do my best for my team. I am always helping my team mates when they need it, and cheering them on.

We took first place in our bracket on Saturday, then moved onto the final game that took place on Sunday. We won against the team Victory after two 10 minute halves of overtime and going into a Pk shootout. I started two of the three games and was one of the five to take a Pk in the finals.

Some of the ribbons I received were Dividers, Diving Headers, Par 3( we got 3 kicks to reach and hit a small pool from a certain distance away), Cone Race, Kamgam, Bicycle Kicks, PK's, and Target Accuracy,
