Personal Statement
Throughout my athletic career I believe I have become a stronger person and have gained life lessons along the way. This includes that nothing replaces hard work and commitment. My father taught me this at a very young age when I was just playing AYSO and we would practice dribbling around cones and passing. As I continued I became a stand out and moved up to better teams. I also learned that sometimes it's perfecting the little things that set you apart from other players. This has become a key asset to success playing at the national level.
I aspire to become the complete player in college and to be a key contributor to succession. My academics also mean lot to me and would like to be an accomplished and focused student. I feel that my education is just as or maybe more important to me because I have high expectations for myself for the future after college and because I think it is also important to look beyond college knowing that I will not always be able to play soccer and run.
