Personal Statement
My favorite part about playing soccer is the feeling of being part of a team and the team is like a small family. As a team, you celebrate your wins and build each other up after the losses to maintain the positive attitudes amongst the group. I also love the competitiveness of sport. I have a constant drive to win and it pushes me to do my best. I love the adrenaline rush I get during games, especially the big games with high stakes. It shows me that all the hard work I've put into preparation and doing what I love is all for a reason. It makes you feel extremely happy and at home wherever I am playing soccer. Anything soccer-related, whether it be the team or the training or the games, is home to me. That is why I love the game so much.
One thing I always do is push the people around me to work hard and be the absolute best version of themselves that they can be. Whether this is on the field during training or in a classroom at school, I always push those around me. Additionally, I like to think of myself as a humble person and strive to treat everyone equally. With this, I try to bring out my peers' best qualities for them to see.
In the future, I would love to continue my soccer career at some professional level, whether it be with NWSL, a team overseas, or the national team. I want to graduate from college with a degree that I will enjoy making a career of in the future. With this degree and career, I will hopefully make some kind of impact on whatever field I decide to go into. My hope is to inspire those around me and allow them to reach their full potential while also not limiting myself.
