Hello Coaches!
I am a tenacious person who learned that passion and hard work are key tenants to becoming a successful adult and a great soccer player. On my own, I’ve spent countless hours training to add skills to my game. I take pride in bringing a physical edge along with the energy to exert my will against my opponent, tilting the field to my team’s advantage. I invite you to look at my online profile and my videos. Those resources will help you see the type of player that I am and the benefits I bring to my team.
The key aspects of a college I’m looking for, will be a strong education, allowing me to be successful in my career. Since I’m looking to become an attorney, I have more options in choosing an undergraduate school. My first step would be to get a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Architecture. An engineering degree would set a strong foundation, enabling me to take the LSATs, and get a law degree. My career goal is to become a litigator in a law firm.
Here’s a list of traits that I will bring to my college team. I’m a strong communicator on and off the field. Because of my deceptive speed, I get a lot of breakaways. My anticipation catches defenses off guard during transitions in the game, leading to a lot of scoring opportunities. I’ve competed at very high levels of competition including ODP, Regional ID camps, and my Hotspurs club team. My primary and secondary positions are #7, 11, 2 and 3.
In my community work at church, I’m known as a kind, passionate, and honest person. I’ve attended our Youth Group since sixth grade. We perform varying types of service projects including activities at Roots of Faith in Sharpsburg PA, a socially and economically depressed area east of Pittsburgh. We serve in our church’s community social events, such as our pancake breakfast, spaghetti dinner and chili cook-off. We also participate in mission work outside of Pennsylvania every summer.
Thank you taking the time to get to know me. I look forward to meeting you, and a time where you can see me play.
Sincerely,
Sabrina Humenik, Class of 2021
