My High School career has taught me to be strong both mentally and physically. I didn’t play varsity until my Junior year. This made me work extremely hard to fight for a spot on varsity. What really pushed me to be better was when my team won districts and I was sitting in the stands. It encouraged me to push myself even harder to become a better player and leader on my team. I love getting to play a leading role in my team chemistry. Nothing makes me happier than when I can help people. As I start my final season of High School soccer as a varsity starter and team captain, and returning from a district win and co-champion league title, I am super excited for what my future holds. But academics certainly play an important role in my sports career. I am a member of National Honors Society, and I volunteer often and whenever I am needed. My academic aspirations for the future include attending a college that fits my needs for my major of Genetics and minor of Biology. I look forward to getting opportunities to become part of a new college soccer “family”.
