I plan to head to college somewhere along the coast, majoring in Marine Biology. I would prefer to go to a school with a mock trial team.
I am a good candidate for your college team because I am very experienced in the world of soccer as I have been playing in recreational leagues for years, I have been a varsity starter all of my high school career, I coach a team of girls for my local soccer club, and I have been refereeing for several years. Overall, I consider myself very coachable, willing to do the best for my team, very familiar with the ins-and-outs of the sport, and a very talented player.
What makes me different from other recruits? Well, as previously stated, I am very coachable and I work very well with others. I am currently the captain on my high school team as a sophomore. Also, academically, I am at the top of my class, in the GIFT program, quiz bowl, math league, reading competition, and a very large part of the mock trial team. This school year, I have maintained a 4.069 average (taking all of the accelerated classes available) and I tested out of the geometry class, which is considered as an accelerated course for 10th grade math, after a week and advanced to Trig/Pre Calc with the 11th and 12th graders.
