Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Adrianna Walker, I am a Sophomore at Laurel Highlands High School (Uniontown, PA) where I start and play Varsity Girls Soccer. I also play for BVB IA Pittsburgh 08 Girls Premier. On the pitch I make an impact by being a vocal leader and encouraging my Teammates. I consistently work on improving my ball skills, speed, and endurance during the season as well as the off season. For the last two summers I have helped coach OnGoal PA. OnGoal is a Christian summer soccer camp that helps lead kids to life’s greatest goal! I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old; I look forward to continuing through High School and competing at the next level. My faith and passion are what drive me both on and off the field. As a Member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) I surround myself with others of faith who work to become not only better individuals but better leaders. Outside of soccer I enjoy spending time with God, my family, and friends as well as traveling, playing volleyball, and swimming. I recently went on a Mission Trip to Guatemala where I was part of a Team that drilled a fresh water well for a community that had no access to clean water. We taught health and hygiene classes to the women and children of the community, taught bible lessons and did arts and crafts. I am excited for all that the future has in store!
