I started playing soccer when I was 4. I have always loved it. I give 100% effort at every practice, training, game, every chance I get. I try my hardest because I always want to challenge myself and my limits to strive for personal improvement. I accept any challenge coaches or teammates give me. As a high school freshman, I made the varsity soccer team, was the starting center back, and played every minute of every game. Currently, as a junior, I am enrolled in Archbishop Wood High School and am the starting center back.
I see myself as a standout athlete because of my attitude and maturity. Every game is an opportunity to get better. Even when my team loses, I see the game as a chance to reflect on my work and learn something. Each loss is a chance to grow. I always want feedback, advice on how to improve. For me, the most important thing- the thing I appreciate most, is the soccer journey. I am committed to my goal of playing at the college level and am training both physically and mentally to be ready.
Academics are also one of my top priorities. I am currently taking 3 AP and 4 honors classes as a junior. My GPA is 4.85. I am interested in a career in the dental field and hope to find a college that supports student-athletes to be excellent.
