Personal Statement

I am a passionate and dynamic person who is dedicated to my sport and my studies. On a soccer field I am recognized to be an intense player with great leadership giving my 110% at each game.  Being part of a special soccer program at school studying in the morning and practicing soccer during my high school years in the afternoon, we were required to put extra efforts in our academic activities ensuring we keep a higher average than regular school programs I am proud to say that I have kept a global.average of 83%  for the past 5 years and am now  pursuing my goal of studyingr business commerce  program while practicing my sport.  Born and raised near Montréal Canada,  I was lucky to learn two languages (french and english) and I am fluent in both languages. I am now studying  in an english school in D1 Soccer program as well.

This 2 year program (CEGEP) is a pre-university school will greathly provide all the tools to be ready to study in a US university playing soccer.

Regarding my soccer history, I have been intensively playing soccer for the past 14 years have started at the age of 3.  I have played in few teams being captain and winning many championships against teams that were in a higher soccer category.  My leadership, intensity and will have driven me to be selected in two prestigious teams: In 2013, I was selected in the regional team which has won the Quebec Provincial Championship. During this major tournament my efforts have been recognized and I was selected in the Quebec Provincial Team in 2014 in which have taken part for one and a half year .   I have also been selected for a special selected soccer program  (National High Performance Program) which allowed me to practice my sport every day with the most qualified coaches in the Province of Québec in Canada. Being involved every day with the best players in the province playing against other Canadian province teams had provided me strength and motivation to continue and be more competitive.  I have always played for top ranked teams in the province and really would like to win one canadian championship with my current team.

The last past 3 years I have also discovered the passion of coaching. Being able to share my passion for my sport to younger athletes has provided me a great sense of responsibility while exercising leadership and guidance.

My goal for the next years will be to continue to combine both academic and soccer success aiming to move south of the canadian boarder and study in an american college/university while playing actively in a great competitive soccer team.  I am willing to put all the necessary efforts to achieve my goal and I know I have the abilities and the strength to reach my dreams.
