Personal Statement

Soccer has been a part of my life since before I can remember, and I hope always to be involved.  Collegiate soccer is the next step and has been a dream of mine since I was in middle school.  I work hard at everything I do, from soccer to academics.  Putting in 100% is a part of my character, and will adapt to the next step by learning, and doing what is asked of me by the coaching staff.  

I have had numerous coaches from the time I was five, playing grassroots, to moving to Australia and playing both on a girl's and a coed team, and then moving back to South Dakota, playing both club and high school soccer.  I currently coach teams on the grassroots level as a head coach in the summer and either an assistant or head coach in the winter. These experiences have helped me to alter my style of play to fit each situation, making me become a very adaptable and coachable player.  I also work outside of scheduled practice time to help myself become the best player and teammate I can be.
