Lauryn Adkisson '14 Recruiting Profile

When I was little, I was very athletic, participating in basketball, gymnastics, and soccer. At the age of eleven I was forced to make a choice as to which sport I wanted to pursue, and I easily chose soccer. I have always had a passion for the game and thrive off of playing on the field. I have an aggressive, all or nothing type of mentality on the field. The one thing that separates me from every other girl is my willingness to put in the work on and off the field to get to where I want to be. My short term goal is to help lead my high school team to the state championship this year. As for my personal goal, I want to play soccer in college at a high level, and I fully believe that hard work will take you wherever you want to go in life.
