My name is Abby Gwinn and soccer has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old. It's always been a dream of mine to play college soccer and to be able to continue my career after high school. As a freshman I was the starting JV forward, I was one of the leading goal scorers on my team and helped lead the team to become district champions. Coming into my sophomore year I moved up to Varsity and my coach was needing center backs and switched my position. I soon learned a lot about the position and excelled in it. I am a very versatile player, I work hard no matter where I am placed and strive to succeed. I am now a Junior at Argyle High School and play club soccer for Dallas Surf. I've continued to play in the center-back position and sometimes as an attacking or defensive center mid. I'm a huge team player, the success of my teammates is just as important to me as my own. I love working with others and creating team chemistry to be able to succeed. I currently have a 3.89 GPA, I work hard off the field just as much as I do on. My education has always been important to me.
