My name is Chloe Monroe, and I will be graduating in May 2024. Currently, I have a 4.2 GPA and attend a college-preparatory school. I start as an outside back, but I also play defensive mid, outside mid, and center back. I aspire to play at a high level in college while also majoring in Pre-Med. (On November 3, 2022, I tore my ACL and had surgery December 1st. I am currently back training August 2023 and am cleared for contact.)
Over the past five years, I have experienced a shoulder injury that no one seems to know the key of this problem, but this has not stopped me. My speed has shown others how I stand out from the 22 girls on the field. Running up and down the field and not letting anyone dribble by or catch up to me makes different. My 30-yard throw-ins are another ability that makes me set apart. Not only that, but I have been captain of my soccer team for the past four years in club and three years in high school. I also have been a part of the varsity track team the past three years of high school. Something that I value is my team and work ethic I put in. I pride myself on being a student and a hard worker on and off the field, no matter what it takes. Soccer is truly my passion and one of the things I value most in life. It has shown me who I am and what I can be every time I step on the field.
