Apolonia Wright '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a very disciplined student athlete. I want to continue to play the sport I love while achieving the goal of becoming a medical illustrator.  I'm ready to play at the next level.  I know I am up to the challenge to achieve this goal and I know I would be an asset to any team.  I am a good teammate and I hope that I lead by example with an immense work ethic and respect for others. Along with quality soccer skills, I bring a strong, calm, and disciplined competitiveness to the field. I may be a defender, but I help my team offensively.  Anticipation of the ball, footwork, and change of speed, all help me with the attack to get the ball up the field.  Defensively, I know where to be, when to pressure, and when to anticipate. I expect myself to work to the best of my abilities during practice and of course during games from the starting whistle to the very end.
