Over the years, soccer has always been what I love and live for in life. Competition gets my heart pumping and sharing this with teammates who have the same commitment, focus, and compassion as I do for the game is what drives me. I grew the most as a student-athlete during my sophomore year of high school while competing with my club team for the chance to play for the National Cup. After multiple games played in a short time span, we finally made it to the championship game for the chance to move on to the next round and compete in the National Cup. Ninety minutes later, we walked away with defeat spread across our faces. This experience helped me grow as a player and showed me that I needed to refine my skills and mindset in order to continue to develop.
After this experience, I grew in all areas including understanding the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and what it means to be a true leader in times of defeat. I am dedicated to finding a program that will be a good fit both athletically and academically. I strongly believe that I not only have the talent, but the work ethic, character , and leadership skills to make a significant impact on your program.
