Personal Statement
My name is Madison Parks and I am a forward with great speed. First and foremost, it is important to know that I am a character player. My sophomore year has been my most challenging. While many of my friends have turned to drugs, and alcohol, I have not. I am committed to a healthy lifestyle - physically, mentally, and spiritually.
My speed, aggression, will-to-win, and my ability to finish is what makes me an elite player.
Outside of my club and high school sports practices, I work out on my own a minimum of three days a week. I also train on my own a minimum of three days a week.
When I am not training, I practice the flute and participate in a young orchestra program. I also help my parents in a number of areas with their business - New Song School of the Arts.
I pride myself on being a student of the game. I watch as much soccer as I can - both at home and at on my phone. I watch and study many elite mens and womens players and visualize and practice what makes them great.
I feel my strong character, my speed, my ability to score, my teachable spirit, and my very strong work ethic are essential components as a student athlete that will help your program succeed.
