My name is Itzel Lerma, I am currently a senior at J.M. Hanks High School in El Paso, Texas and I have been a member of the varsity soccer team since my freshman year. As I aspire to be a college athlete, I look for a selective program that is very competitive. I look for a program that focuses on conditioning, agility, communication, and overall respect amongst the team. I believe I am a good candidate to become a college athlete because academically I am above average, I strive to be at my best in whatever it is that I am doing. Athletically I feel I standout from other athletes because of my speed, determination on the field, heart for the game, and coachability. I believe I stand out from other athletes because my coaches will never have to worry about me being ineligible to play, I feel I am a very dependable athlete. As a student I am aspiring to be an orthopedic surgeon.
