Personal Statement

My name is Clarissa Marie Castañeda and I have been playing soccer for 9 years.  I began playing it recreationally, and I've been playing it competitively for about 7 years.  I am currently part of Lonestars 99G Red SA, and NPL-USC Champions League team from San Antonio, Texas,  and I am on the varsity soccer team at my high school, Los Fresnos High School.  My goal in life is to play for a competitive division one university that will also offer my desired major, athletic training/exercise science.  I am looking for a university that is both strong in athletics as well as academics.  My dream is to play for a professional club and become a soccer coach or athletic trainer for a soccer program upon graduating.  I would love the opportunity to play for the United States Women's National Team one day as well.
