Hi, my name is Caroline Burrow and I would like to introduce myself! I am 17 years old and a Junior at Birdville High School. I play varsity soccer for Birdville and I have been a varsity starter since freshman year. I was named first team all-region as a freshman and was named top 25 players to watch in Tarrant County, by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. I also play for Solar West DPL 02G Richardson. My sophomore year of high school I tore my ACL in September but recovered and I have now been back to playing for about 10 months.
Tearing my ACL has made me appreciate the game more than I ever did before. It showed me to never take anything for granted even when it comes to conditioning and weight room. I now understand my love of playing soccer because of the thought that I may never be able to play again. Soccer is my passion and I look forward to doing whatever possible to play at the collegiate level.
I am a very good student and take my education seriously. I am not 100% decided on my major, but it will likely be something like Pre-Law or Pre-Med. I am a part of the student council at my school. I am also involved in National Honor Society and do lots of community service. While school is very important to me, I also spend lots of time with my friends, go to church, and I am an assistant coach for my little brother’s soccer team. For the last two summers I have been a camp counselor at Camp Thurman which is a Christian camp in Arlington, Texas.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
