Personal Statement
My name is Reagan Forrest. I attend Shadow Creek High School and will graduate with the Class of 2020. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and have had a passion for the game since the day I stepped foot on the field. For most people the pressure is too much, but for me the pressure acts as an energizer. It makes me drive myself harder each and everyday. Each time I hear the whistle blow to start a game, my senses become dramatically alert and serve as a wakeup call to get my head in the game. Not every game can be a perfect performance but I have the power to see what is not working and make adjustments during play. I have overcome many obstacles (injury, coaching changes, new teams), but have conquered them to become a better player. I have been on teams that have lost a lot of games and have been on teams that have won many games, but I work extremely hard and put my heart into every game and for every team. I see the game with a unique perspective. I see different channels, different runs and options on the field that my teammates might not see. In the end, it's all for the team. I am a leader on and off the field and I set individual and team goals. In conclusion, I love the game of soccer. I feel extremely blessed to be able to play the game I love with the people I love. Why stop now? I am following the pathway that God has chosen for me and he is leading me towards the challenge of college soccer.
