I am a very fortunate person because of my family. My family has influenced my life so much, they have been able to support me with anything I want to do, especially with soccer. When I play soccer everything feels at ease and the world around me seems to stop. My whole life revolves around soccer, I have learned so much about myself through playing it. I have learned about being responsible, showing grit, working as a team and learning how to put in the work to achieve a goal.
Not only do I work hard at soccer, I strive to do my best in school as well. I aim to make straight A’s in all my classes, even in the toughest one, Chinese. In college, I would like to continually make good grades along with pursuing my soccer career. Today, I am not the person I was one year ago. I had to figure out how to improve my game at my own pace. I had to really step up and put in multiple hours to get to the next level. Knowing that I went through that struggle lets me know that I can conquer anything. I have what it takes to play at the collegiate level: I am willing to do the work that others don’t want to do, I am a technical player and I am always motivated to get better.
