Allyson Lugo '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Allyson Lugo and I am in my Senior year at Southwest Legacy High School, a public school in San Antonio, TX. I am looking for a college that has both an academically and athletically excellent program that will help me further my knowledge and grow in a career as a sport medicine physician, as well as pursue my dream to play collegiate soccer. 

On my club and high school team, I play attacking and defensive mid-field, particularly on the right side , but I can easily adapt to any positon on the field, such as right defensive back, center forward, and left forward. During my time playing for SA shootout and Sporti USA San Antonio, I would start as a right wing, which is what i'm most comfortable with due to my extensive tolerance and accurate crosses to my finishing teammates. 

When i'm not devoting my time on the soccer field i'm contributing my time to being a student athletic trainer.  While working with multiple sports such football, cross country, baseball, and track it has helped me to become driven to my goal of becoming a sports medicine physician. 

I would love to find a college that can benefit me both academically and athletically due to my well understanding for sports medicine that can be very useful for playing soccer. I get along very well with all my teammates as well as keeping them motivated on and off the field.
