My name is Sarah Cook. Playing soccer is not only my passion but it’s my dream and I’m willing to do anything to make it there. I've been playing soccer since I was seven and have played club since I was 9. I also played Arkansas ODP and made it to the competitive team. I have always been the smallest on any roster I've ever played on. Although, as I always say, I might be the smallest but that does not mean I won't push the biggest girl down first.
I have had straight A's for as long as I can remember and academics have always been an important part of my life. I strive for good grades and partake in mentally demanding classes. This determination spills over into my soccer habits, as well. I see the field very well and I'm able to command my backline as well as my midfielders strongly and accurately. I have speed and agility that is very useful in tight situations as a defensive player and I have a strong kick (I take my club and high school team's free kicks). I have a persistent attitude and dedicate myself to everything. Soccer is what I truly love and working for it is something that has never scared me and I will not shy away from it.
Making it to the highest level of collegiate soccer is something that I put whatever amount of work needed to accomplish that. I have the field vision and necessary skills to not only participate on the team, but to also help the team thrive. I put so much work into all aspects of my life and playing soccer is one of the biggest parts of that. I will be an asset to your team and move mountains to be the best I can be.
