Personal Statement
When my team and I won the 6a State Championship game for Davis High School, I could easily say that was the highlight of my soccer career; but, it wasn't the biggest learning experience of my soccer career. No!! the biggest learning experience for me was getting cut during my freshman year of High School. I had coaches who didn't believe that I was a quality soccer player, so I took that and made it my personal goal to show them that they missed out. I had to believe in myself and push myself to become better. I worked hard going to the gym, meeting up with my goalie coach multiple times a week, and I decided to get a variance to the top school in Utah for girls' high school soccer. I made the team the very next season; however, it wasn't always easy there either. During my sophomore year I played JV, and even though I was on the team this time around I wasn't satisfied. Quickly my new goal was to become the varsity goalkeeper my Jr. year and lead my team to a state title and THAT is EXACTLY what I did!
I promise I will never give you anything besides 110% on and off the field. I will put my best foot forward in school and continue to receive high-level grades. I am looking to play somewhere where I can accelerate my game, increase my education and bring energy to increase your team's value. I have a personal goal to play after college, and use my knowledge to help assist girls like myself to help them believe in themselves. I am looking for a college that can help me get closer to these goals. I look forward to opportunities that college will bring.
