What has been an influence and driving point in my life and soccer career is the push to be better. to be better than yesterday and strive to push myself to grow and show the people the said I wasn't good enough or cut me from their teams that I can be better and that I didn't give up. I've been doing soccer for over 12 years, my parents thought it would be fun to put my 4 year old self into soccer and see if it was my sport. I was always doing different sports growing up but i always came back to soccer and started doing it full time 7 years ago. what I've learned about myself while playing soccer is that I'm a fighter, as I said many people told me to give up or that I wasn't good enough and especially during my teenage years the criticism was harsh but I always told myself that I love this sport and it was what I was meant to do.
My academic goals for high school is to be an A,B student and to end every term with no missing work. my academic goals for college is to be an A,B student and to stay on top of my school work. I've had to overcome many obstacles during my soccer journey, I had went to a college camp and the head coach had said I would never play collegiately, but I choose not to believe them and continue to work to get to play at the college level. I like to think I can be a leader and friend on and off the field, I'd say I'm very outgoing and easy to be around. I'm a very relaxed person and don't like to be around conflicts. A good characteristic I would say I have is that I'm positive, if we get scored on I want to push the team to keep going, I want to be the one to encourage players to work hard and I love to cheer on my teammates.
