Taylor French '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Taylor French, and I am currently a junior at West High School in Salt Lake CIty, Utah.  I have been playing soccer since I was seven, and have loved it from the beginning.  I am looking to continue playing at the highest possible level in college, and am open to all different options when considering the right school for me.  

Soccer has been a huge part of my life since I was a kid, and as a high school athlete, I have committed to making it a priority from the beginning.  I have been a varsity team member since my freshman year, and have started varsity since the 10th grade.  This past season, I helped lead West HIgh Women's Soccer to the best record in its history, scoring 14 goals in 15 appearances.  Next year in my senior season, I hope to continue to lead my team as a captain as well as improve my junior recognition from all state honorable mention to an all state first team member. 

Both on the field and off, I am an extremely driven individual.  As part of my commitment to soccer, I also recognize the fact that my performance in the classroom is what will affect my life 20 years from now.  I currently have a 3.88 unweighted GPA while taking advanced placement and IB classes, and I plan to graduate next June with a full International Baccalaureate diploma.
