Serena Lavinia Benish '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'6'' right winger/center outfielder from Spanish Fork, Utah (central Utah).  I have started on the varsity team for four years, since my freshman year.  I have attended two summer camps at Southern Utah University and have played on a competition team as well, always as a starter.  Proudly, I am the captain of my team this year, and I really take the leadership seriously, trying to motivate my teammates and to improve us as a team, not just improve my skills. 

My long-range dream/goal is to be a professional soccer player.  I am looking for a university/college team that will help me to stretch my skills and where I will be able to make a contribution early in my career, and I do want to maintain a good academic record as well.  I would be interested in schools in the West since my family is closer, but I am open to schools in any part of the country with good women's soccer programs.  Financial assistance will be a big factor in my selection process as my family will have financial need.
