Personal Statement
I grew up in Atlanta, GA and played soccer almost all of my life before my sophomore year in high school at the NTH Tophat soccer club. As a sophomore, I left home to attend a boarding school (Episcopal High School) in Alexandria, VA where I am now a junior. I have played on the Episcopal Varsity team for the last two years and also now play on a local club team (Alexandria Soccer Association).
I play forward and attacking mid. I think my greatest strengths are my ability to see the field, have a solid first touch, use good foot skills, start a passing sequence, make strong clean passes, maintain possession of the ball, and use either foot (I am right footed but equally strong with my left). I have led almost every team I have ever played on in assists and have been the top goal scorer on several. All of my coaches have indicated to me that I would be a strong collegiate player. Here is a quote from my current high school coach Jen Fitzpatrick - “Caroline is a crafty player with impressive foot skills, a strong field sense, and a great sense for the game. Her teammates know her to be an unselfish player, always looking to set other up for success.”
