I have been playing soccer since I was five years old, and I haven't stopped loving the game since. I've studied and played the game with heart and I know that I want to play at the collegiate level.
I've played on high-level travel/club soccer teams from Virginia, California and New Mexico. I believe this shows how diverse I can be with different playing styles, and can adapt well to change. I am known to be very coach-able and a great leader; I was even chosen as team captain by my soccer teammates in California. One thing I hear most about me is that I am fearless and strong. Although I primarily play center forward, I'm willing to step into any position - from attacking and driving to defensive tackle. I never leave the field without putting all my heart into the game.
I've helped my team win two consecutive State Cup championships in Virginia, scoring the winning goals each year. I was selected for the Virginia State ODP team 2015-17. I've helped my teams into countless finals and championships in tournaments across many states and at the highest level of competition.
In school, I have been a part of the gifted or taking honors classes for as long as I can remember. I am actively involved in school as I participate in leadership programs in my school and volunteer in organizations around my community. In my Freshmen year, I was one of only two freshmen who made the Varsity Women's Soccer team. In my Sophomore year, I am competing for my school as a mid-distance sprinter and the anchor of several relay teams in Track and Field.
For all of my life, I strive to be the best I can be, whether that be in soccer or academically. I realize that if I want to be the best, there are many sacrifices I will have to make. However, I would never let up any opportunity to help my future and make my family proud. I know that getting to play at the highest level is difficult, but there has never been a time when I backed away from a challenge.
