Personal Statement

     I started playing soccer when I was five years old and could never imagine giving it up! I knew from a young age that I wanted to go to college but it wasn't until I joined a travel soccer club in 2015 that I decided that I wanted to do college soccer. Despite the challenges of life, be it conflicting schedules with other extracurriculars, injuries, and beginning the college admission process, I have been able to persevere and overcome those obstacles, allowing me to support my team in ever greater capacities. 

     Since I joined the travel league, I have been Team Captain three times. I have the skill and ability to play wherever my coach feels that I would support our team the best (except goalkeeper). I know that I can be a strong leader and an asset to my team!
