Personal Statement
I have been playing competitive travel soccer since I was nine years old. I have played for Metro United (Formerly Washington Spirit), which was part of the Developmental Academy now Girls Academy for the past three years. I played for VA Olympic Developmental Program (ODP) for three years before going to DA. I represented VA ODP on the International Roster competing in France (2018), where I scored the first goal for Virginia in our Friendlies. I am versatile as a soccer player, having played Center Back, Striker, Winger, and Defensive-Mid. My strengths are my communication on the field, physical attributes, ability to close space, playmaker, speed, and ability to impact both sides of the pitch.
To better diversify, I have incorporated strength and conditioning, running, and 1-1 technical training into my schedule during the season and offseason. I also ran track and field with VA Pride Track for two years (short distances and sprints), which assisted me greatly in my development on the field. I maintain a 4.4 GPA in the classroom, taking AP and honors classes in English, Math, and Science and earning Honor Roll accolades every semester. For volunteer work, I was selected for the Loudon Reserve Medical Corps, in which I routinely volunteer for various activities in the county requiring medical support. I am a dedicated, committed, and goal-oriented student-athlete on and off the field that will make a difference in your program.
