Personal Statement
I am a rising senior who started 40 of my 41 games as a Varsity player at Salem High School (VA) as a freshman and sophomore. My team is 30-8-3 over my varsity career achieving back to back conference titles and reaching the Region Semis twice. As a sophomore, I received 2nd Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All- Region honors. I have been primarily a midfielder (both attacking and holding), although I have played some stints at sweeper and striker. My coaches praise me for my ball winning ability and my creativity on the field. Recently, I have been playing alot of Center Back for my travel teams (VBR Star and Pittsburgh Riverhounds). I have enjoyed the transition and would be open to playing either position in college.
In college, I am hoping to pursue a career in the medical profession, possibly Pre-Med. I am not afraid of hard work and expect to be the best I can be. I also enjoy helping others along... I have enjoyed very much coaching and helping at several soccer camps the past two summers. I am looking for a small to mid sized school with an opportunity to use my soccer skills and pursue a medical career. At this time I am hoping for an east coast school, but have not ruled out anything.
