I am a high school rising senior (school year 2024/25) who has been playing year-round soccer for 12 years and developed a passion and dedication for the sport to last a lifetime. I am a starting varsity player for high school varsity soccer and a starter for my ECNL club team.
I am a formidable defender who has played a variety of positions with most success achieved in defensive positions (center back and holding mid). We have a new coach who I am getting to know but my last club coach has described me as "the engine of the team" and mentioned that he never wants to take me out. He said I make good decisions and demonstrate leadership on the field. I play most of the game for my high school team, as well.
I am a hard worker who puts forth max effort in training for my sport and participating in my education. For soccer, I take on additional private training sessions at TOCA, as well as gym work outs and running outside of practice. In addition to a passion for soccer, I am also a dedicated student who has maintained straight As and high achievement during my entire school career, including accelerated math courses as well as other AP/Honors courses in Science, Social Studies, and English.
My current educational goal is to complete high school with honors and earn an undergrad degree in the sciences at a college where I can contribute and succeed as both a soccer player and a student and then proceed to medical school.
On a personal level, I like to spend time with friends and family and have been told I have a good sense of humor. My soccer teammates are among my friends and we like to get together with others in the community to play soccer pick-up games as well as beach volleyball.
