Jasmine Shigeno '20 Recruiting Profile

Collegiately, my goals and aspirations are to find an excellent college that is best suited academically for me, and secondly, a competitive college soccer team. I consider myself a person who is driven, has leadership experience, is goal oriented, and prioritizes academics over anything else, even though I am also a competitive student-athlete. I have been a captain on my club soccer team for five years now, and I feel that by being a captain I have learned to be an effective communicator and leader for my team. I always strive to improve my game in all aspects, whether it means strength training, conditioning, watching film, analyzing statistics, and/or skills training. An important aspect of being a great player is to have the ability to receive constructive criticism and be coachable, and I believe I possess these qualities. My goal in college soccer is to find a team that I can connect with, a coach I can look up to, and a system I can learn from.
