Keira Cushman Win...Personal Statement
The phrase "Be kind to others as you never know what they are going through" is a motto that has shaped much of who I am today. In my life I have faced a lot of obstacles including a learning disability and bullying just to start. I had to persevere through my hardships to become the athlete, student and human that is still developing stronger each day. I am beyond thankful to have soccer in my life; it pushes me everyday to perform my best on the pitch and keeps me mentally strong. I thrive under coaches that challenge me and push me to my limits.
