Janae Lewis '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Janae Lewis, and I have been playing soccer for 11 years.  My goal since I was younger has always been to play college soccer.  Soccer is my passion: I love playing more than anything. Soccer is something that has always been there for me; it's something about being on the field that just calms me and makes me so happy.  I am very hard working, patient, and driven.  This makes me a good candidate for your team because I will practice until I get it right, ask questions until I understand,  work well with my teammates, and always strive to do/be better.  My goal after soccer is to go to Medical School to become a Perinatologist.  I want to be able to help people get better and bring a smile to their face.   Soccer teaches me many things that are very valuable and important for Medical School such as: team work, patience, hard work and determination,  and focus.  The thought of playing college soccer excites me, and knowing what comes after, that's pretty exciting too.
