Hi! My name is Saliyah Sabedra, I am 18 years old and a senior in high school. This coming June I will be graduating with not only my high school diploma but also my Associate's Degree in Art and Science. I am looking to attend a 4-year University and graduate with my Master's Degree. I am a really outgoing person who loves interacting and talking to people. Currently, along with my club training, I am training on my own as well. As for collegiate goals, I want to play at the highest level. I want to experience an environment outside of my small hometown. I want to be challenged athletically and academically to be able to learn and grow beyond my current comfort zone. What separates me from other recruits is I am driven and hard-working. I am not afraid to put myself through discomfort and challenge myself to grow and be a better persona and player. I also practice consistency and keep in mind that I need to push myself in training in order to improve as a player, and for my team. Over my years of playing (15) I learned that no matter how long you've been playing the game, it has no direct reflection on how good of a player you are. What actually matters is the work you put into training and striving to get better each day. Overall, I want to further my education while doing what I love most, playing soccer!
