Hi! My name is Sarah Bell. I am in the class of 2021 and attend Roosevelt High School in Seattle. I have wanted to play college soccer since I was a little kid. I play for the Pacific Northwest soccer club as a defender. I have a GPA of 3.91.
Something I am very proud of is my dedication and grit. I have stuck with soccer even when many things didn't go my way, and I think that being able to push on through setbacks has not only taught me work ethic but has made me a better person overall. With every change of course, I have had many unique and challenging situations, which have led me to engage with people I may never have met otherwise. Yet, those same people have become some of the most important people in my life.
I think the combinations of challenges have really begun to teach me empathy, as I have been fortunate enough to be surrounded by many different people from many walks of life. While I am still working on being empathetic everyday, I am grateful that I have had the chance to build a foundation for empathy overtime.
