Personal Statement
2023 Maryland State Cup Champions!  Growing up, soccer has always been a part of my life, and I have always known that I want to play in college. My former club team, Epic Freedom Patriots, was a u-19 team where I was named as a captain as a sophomore. I also was the primary set piece and penalty kick taker. I then moved to Hagerstown Soccer Club with the intent of playing high school softball in the spring, but my plans changed and I'm now playing with FC Frederick for the upcoming season. One thing that sets me apart from other players is that I can really play anywhere on the field and do well.  My main position has been outside back while my playing time in the midfield has increased as I continue to evolve as a player.  I also have good fitness and work ethic. Since my 8th grade track season my mile time has ranged between 6:24 and 6:40. My right foot is stronger, but I can shoot and take free kicks with my left as well. However, I am working to get more consistency on my left.
Since I moved to West Virginia in fourth grade, I have been an honor roll student every year. In middle school, there was an award called the Patriot award which was given out each nine weeks to one student from each class. The student was chosen by their homeroom/first period teacher and was given to students who showed initiative, had a good personality, turned in work on time, had a good work ethic, were always willing to help others, and more. I received this award every year and in the first nine weeks every year.
