Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Abigail Weinke, I go by Abbey. I am 5'9" 145 pounds and I'm a varsity soccer player #21 from Fond du lac High School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. I have lettered all 3 years and this will be my 4th as a varsity player. I have started 3 years now as a forward. I am left foot dominate. I have played varsity since my freshman year and will continue to throughout my high school career. I am going into my Senior year of soccer playing forward at Fond du Lac High school. I'm fast, aggressive, rough, able to carry the ball, touch and pass are accurate, and love to make a move to get pass my opponent to charge at the goal and finish with a goal. I am the top goal scorer on my team. 8 goals, and 12 assists. This year I plan and have been working hard in the off season to break the school record of most goals and assists in a season. Were ranked 412 in the Nation and and 3rd in WI. We are not individually ranked. I graduate in 2015 and I would love to play college soccer at a larger school and at a D-1 or D-2 soccer level would be ideal. NSCAA All American Academic award 2013 and 2014. I played ODP in 2013-2014 Regional l and ll. I have been on my club/travel team Fondy Phoenix for 4 years since I was a freshman playing on U18. We have won our conference 3 years in a row. I also play on 3 indoor soccer teams Marian, Do it All, and Oshkosh Y. Average goals a game 4, and 7 assists. My freshman year I would like to compete at a college level and make an impact on playing forward or outside left midfield which ever one of those two positions I would get a chance to play at. I look forward to working hard for whatever program I will be apart of and I plan on becoming a great leader. Playing college soccer has always been a dream of mine and i would love to pursue.

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
