I have been playing soccer since I was seven years old. Since I first stepped on the field, my love for the game has grown exponentially; and I aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could open many new doors for me, including life long friendships with new teammates.
I believe I am the type of recruit you are looking for and a good candidate for your team. My resilience, hardworking and coachable attitude. I will work outside of practice and do my best at every practice to be the best player for the position you need me to be. I have very good endurance and most games I play all 90 minutes. When playing as a midfielder, my speed covers my defenders when the ball gets pass them. Then when I'm on defense I'm very good at taking away the long runs and long passes, then controlling it and making a good pass to my forwards. I'm not afraid to make a rush for the net when I have an open run towards the net; I'll take it and get the ball moving up the field quickly. I work very well with my teammates and our communication is very good, often catching our opponents with offsides, and not getting down on each other. I am not of afraid of taking leadership and helping teammates reach their full potential, as I was a captain of my Club team and aspire to be one of my school team this year.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I take rigorous courses like AP Statistics, AP Chemistry, AP History and other Honors classes. I also volunteer at HAYSO as an assistant soccer coach to our elementary school kids. I am currently a member of FCCLA, short for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, FCA short for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Spanish Club.
I want to attend a 4 year college and get at least a bachelor's degree in either Forestry, Interior Design, or Architecture and graduate with honors. I want this college to match my career interests while still challenging me at the highest level possible of soccer.
