My name is Viktoria and I am from Brazil. I am interested in American colleges because I was an exchange student last year in Wisconsin during a year and it was the best experience of my life. I really like the American education and I think it is amazing that students can study and play sports in their universities.
Before I left Brazil to go to the U.S I was part of a soccer club team and it was an amazing experience. I had the opportunity to play with very good players, to travel around Brazil, to meet new people and mainly to become a better soccer player. Before I had played in my soccer club team, I always had played with boys and I think that made me a stronger and faster player.
I believe my exchange year in the U.S made me a better person; I grew and learned a lot, I think that now I am more mature, more respectful and more thoughtful. I believe that travel is one of the most consistent way of learning and teaching. My exchange year also gave me the chance of playing soccer in an American high school varsity team.
I think I can contribute with the university sharing my culture. I want to be proud of myself for being part of an American university but I also want the university being proud of having me. I would like to become a doctor. Medicine is a profession that will make me able to help people whenever I go and that´s what I want to do.
