Anya Ranft '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I'm Anya, and I'm a defensive midfielder in the class of 2022! I am looking for a college that is academically challenging and athletically competitive. I've been playing soccer with my twin sister since I was 3, and have grown to love the game enormously. I pride myself on being an intelligent player, with technical skill and competitiveness. I'm a selfless player, and I play key passes and make penetrating runs. I am a 3 year starter on varsity and a captain for Wauwatosa East. My club team, MKSC plays in the Midwest Regional League. I work at Stefans Soccer Supply and my job has brought me closer to the sport and even more excited to hopefully play in college. I've been interested in politics since the 2016 election, and hope to study political science/international relations and German. My "We the People" team will be competing at nationals this April. I take multiple AP courses and have an accumulative 4.0 GPA (unweighted). I am a hard working student and athlete.
